sonic boom six

okay well i was originally here to see graveltrap but because of shite organisation from the venue management and very late arrival times from kenisia and sonic boom six my night was ruined but at least the bands who played wernt too awful. The night was opened with a below average ska band with only 1 memorable song and that was only remembered for a complete cock-up by the guitarist so SKA GAL arent a great band but the fat singer and skinny singer combo made for a fucking great laugh!! my night was made a damn site worse with the arrival of DUDEFISH to the stage god they were bad playing bustedesque songs with a very poofy singing voice it really did fucking suck the only song that was vaguely enjoyable was the intro which was hardcore punk without vocals. The night was suddenly saved by the arrival of KENISIA the ska veterans really know how to cancel out shite performances of support acts playing infectious ska tunes with a very indie rock edge it was the best fusion genre ever!!!!ok so finally a gd band and then magic occured 2 in a row!! sonic boom six rocked loud and proud with the rather fit lead singer leila prancing around the stage with the prescence of rik waller and nearly blocking out the stunning musical talents of the musicians that backed her up. They played the song of the evening "blood for oil" a politiscised punk/bhangra/ska/metal anthem.Mainstream beware sonic boom six are here and shouting about it!!!

6.50 4 this i object oh wait getting in free for a charity night was the most selfish thing i have ever done but if you can do it,do it.So the opening act were TALKING BACKWARDS and surprisingly they were quite good crossing metal electro and indie to make a placeboesque sound which rocked quite a bit. Then was the turn of soul circus............im awake now sorry but they were the biggest piece of dreary WANK i have ever heard and basically thats it.OFFLIMIT ahhhhh now heres a band who can make intelligent rock music and they do it well.ohhhhh dear ROSEMARY aka SHITE as boring as soul circus but with a screeching female voice and a lifeless bass player the guitarist and drummer obviously knew how to make good music but the 2 female members of the band hadnt a clue.EPISODE band of the night in my opinion hardcore pwer punk rocking the crowd away shame bout the lack of atomsphere amongst the crowd and finally 9-volt hmmmmmmmm heavy metal arrogant vain lead singer oh wait THEY ARE FUCKING AWFUL dont see this band!!!
